Richard G. Meltzer, DDS, DABFD

Here at the offices of Richard G. Meltzer, we are experts in our field, and provide excellent dental care to our customers. We have 27 years of experience working with the technology involved in this field.

Richard G. Meltzer is licensed in Maryland, D.C., and Florida. He is board certified in intravenous sedation and anesthesia and is a graduate of Georgetown Dental School.

Dr. Meltzer has had experience as a hospital resident, performing all phases of dentistry and surgery.

A friendly, caring staff accompanies him, including Robin Spence and Holly King,  registered dental hygienists, who contribute their talents and skills by providing thorough, gentle care and being  good teachers.

Sandra P. Hsieh, D.D.S. ( pronounced "shay") works together with Dr. Meltzer. Licensed in Maryland and Virginia, Dr. Hsieh attended the University of Maryland Dental School and completed a hospital residency, performing all aspects of dentistry. She is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, American Dental Association, and Southern Maryland Dental Society. Known for her gentleness, she makes every patient feel comfortable and relaxed while helping them to achieve a healthy smile.

Dr. Meltzer is Board Certified in Intravenous Sedation and Anesthetics, providing many options to receive dental treatment in a painless and comfortable fashion, even for those who have had difficult dental experiences in the past.  Dr. Meltzer says, "Don't be surprised if you have a good time."

With Diplomate Status, Dr. Meltzer has been associated with the American College of Forensic Dentistry, a member of the Maryland State Medical Forensic Team, Chairman of the Dental Department at Hebrew Home of Greater Washington, and is a member of the Ethics Committee of Southern Maryland Dental Society. He has also participated in the Armed Forces Institute of Pathology Forensic course of study.
